DELIVERY

IN STORE PURCHASES & ORDERS

Items ordered in store will incur a postage charge of $7. If the item(s) are paid for in full in store at the time of order, we offer free postage as a courtesy. Your fitter will inform you of the time frame for your order. If you have any questions, please contact us at the store.

ONLINE PURCHASES WITHIN NEW ZEALAND

Shipping cost: $7 Courier Post, non signature, tracked. 1-3 working days from the date of dispatch. No Saturday delivery.

'Buy Now': We will endeavour to dispatch items classified as 'Buy Now' within two working days from the date of your order.

'Order Now': We will endeavour to dispatch items classified as 'Order Now' within 3-4 weeks from the date of your order. Selected brands may take 6+ weeks to arrive. Before purchasing, please see the specific delivery information on the relevant product page to determine how long your order will take to arrive. Where possible we have overestimated these time frames, they are dictated by our suppliers and The Fitting Room has no control over them. If you, the customer, have an urgent date that your purchase is required by, please contact us to confirm whether or not it will arrive in time.

Upon dispatch you will receive a Dispatch Confirmation email which will include the Track & Trace reference number for your parcel. You will be able to track delivery through the link which will take you to the Courier Post or Fastway Couriers website.

If we anticipate we will be unable to meet the stipulated delivery date, we will contact you with a revised delivery date and you may, if you wish, cancel your order and receive a full refund.

If you order does not arrived within this timeframe, please contact us using the contact page on our site or by email. For us to help you quickly, please include your order number.

ONLINE PURCHASES - INTERNATIONAL

Apart from Australia, we do not generally deliver internationally. However, if you have visited us in store, and are an existing customer, we can sometimes make arrangements. Please contact us through our site or email support@thefittingroom.co.nz if you would like to pursue this option.

RETURNS

RETURNS FOR IN-STORE PURCHASES

Please take the time to be sure you are happy when trying on garments, and choose your purchases carefully. The Fitting Room is under no obligation to offer an exchange or refund for a change of mind. Gift Vouchers cannot be returned or refunded. If a product is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 to provide a remedy.

Special Comfort Guarantee: (only applicable to in store fittings) If you have had a fitting with one of our fitting specialists and are finding your bra an uncomfortable fit, please contact us within 14 days and we will give you a re-fit and do our best to address the issue. This offer does not include swimwear, briefs or any discounted items.

RETURNS FOR ONLINE PURCHASES - NEW ZEALAND

FREE RETURNS* within NZ: just turn our courier bag inside out, wrap up your items, tape it up and place the Courier Post Returns Sticker front and centre. If you are unable to re-use the courier bag, you can wrap up your items securely and attach the Returns Sticker to your new parcel. Then drop it off at a NZ Post Office.

*Free Returns excludes 'bulky' items: basques, torsolettes and prostheses.
Products purchased from our website may be returned for any reason within 14 days from the date of invoice.
Returned products must be in re-saleable condition, unwashed and unworn, with all tags attached, and be accompanied by the original invoice. The customer's own briefs must be worn when trying on swimwear and briefs purchased. Discounted items must be returned within 7 days. Gift vouchers cannot be returned or refunded. '$14.95 Briefs' & '$19.95 Swim Briefs' cannot be returned. Some items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons - this will be explained in each individual product description.

If you return a product by post, we will contact you when we receive it. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within seven days of our receipt of the product. The refund will be in the same form as your original payment.

RETURNS FOR FAULTY GARMENTS

If a product is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 to provide a remedy. Our lingerie and swimwear are guaranteed against flaw for 6 months, if the manufacturer's care instructions have been followed. If you suspect a garment is faulty, please contact us and we can discuss further. Items cannot be returned after 6 months for any reason. However, if you have a fault with your prosthesis, please contact us directly as different terms apply. We may be required to send the garment to be evaluated by its supplier before providing an outcome for you. We will do this as soon as we can, but in any case, within 4 weeks.
